Not too far from the castle, the Bandits have made a new home in an abandoned monastery and church. It was built into a rocky outcrop on the side of the mountains, with the entrance jutting out and the rest built right into the stone. This makes it well fortified and impossible to ambush or attack from more than the front entrance. Inside, there are numerous rooms that once hosted the monks for a variety of activities, such as sleeping, eating, bathing, and praying. The land in front and to the sides of the monastery are rich and fertile, perfect for growing crops, as the monks used the land as their main source of sustenance while they inhabited this place.

The cloister walk is the main hall which links most parts of the monastery. If you want to get anywhere you will end up in this architectural wonder of a hall, running through the entire church like the spine of the entire building. At the beginning of the hall there are windows looking out, but as you go further in the windows are replaced with lanterns to provide light.

The chapter hall was where the monks assembled after morning prayer to decide on the daily tasks to be done. It is essentially a meeting room and since the Bandit takeover is used by the leader and his close circle to discuss battles and the goings on in their group. New members must come here if they wish to join the bandits and sign their name in the records books.

This is the communal dining area. The kitchens are attached through a small door near the head of the table, and there are still many cooking devices available to the Bandits thanks to the previous inhabitants. There is a hearth where the cooking is done, and plenty of counter space to prep the meals. In the dining hall itself, there are several long tables to accommodate the diners.

Linked to the monastery by the cloister walk, the church is a humble place. The room is relatively empty now, and it has become the place the Bandits use to store some of the instruments they brought with them, as well as play the ones they found here. It is also used as the classroom where the youth are educated.

Like the cellar, the catacombs rest beneath the structure of the church and monastery. It houses the dead monks, and precious religious relics and biblical art adorn the walls. It is unnerving down here, but the bandits don't seem to mind. They use it as a dungeon, torturing their victims down here. They have refurbished much of it with instruments of torture.
